Sucks but YDI for: A) Who DOESNT get away from the tree as its falling, especially if it's free falling. Genius. B) Get a chainsaw that stops the chain unless you're pulling some sort of trigger. (I'd swear that's how they're all made, now at least). If all you needed was stitches in your leg consider yourself lucky.
#33: The fact that the tree in his yard was allowed to rot fully suggests otherwise. I'm not being a jerk, obviously it's an FML due to his leg being cut up but I also think it was preventable if somebody was hired with more experience with felling dead wood.
is there anyway i can click "your life is ******" 800 times?
lol.... agreed... but I hav 2 say i've done that b4.... I stood on a chainsaw.... kinda dumb :) but at least it wasn't rilunning but it hurt like he'll so I can imagine how much pain the op must hav been in.... :s
holy s**t typing on an itouch kinda goes a bit f**ked at times
Ohh shit can you say OUCHHH! That sucks. Must have hurt like hell. Next time let the professionals handle it, though. Also, be glad you didn't cut off your leg. Damn.
Holy crap, OUCH. Still, you're lucky because it could have been much, much worse. I feel for you.
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that sucks good scar story though!
OH SHIT ! Owwwwwwwwwch.
I'm not sure if this is true. I use a chainsaw every day to cut down trees. The part where the tree hit you I believe, but why were you still pulling the throttle on the saw for so long? The chain stops pretty quickly, in less than a second at full throttle, unless you keep holding it. And there is usually a lock you have to push for the throttle, so accidentally hitting it is pretty hard to accomplish. But shit, I've seen some pretty weird stuff happen. If it's true, that sucks. But at least the scar will be a fun story.
