Today, I decided to dye my hair blue. The result is slightly different than I expected: my white bathroom is now blue, and so are my skin and nails. The only thing that isn't blue is my hair, which is now green. FML

I dye my hair blue all the time. your hair needs to be bleached first for better effect, use gloves, and use cleaner to wipe down the washrooms or bleach. it's all part of the process of dying your hair.

Yeah, blue is probably the trickiest hair color, and I've tried most of them :) You need to get your hair practically white for blue to catch on it, and then use the best brand you can possibly find (Atlantic Blue by Jerome Russell's Punky Colour did it for me), and even then, after the first dye it will probably fade to green within 1-2 weeks. When I dyed my hair blue and turquoise I learned it'd last a whole lot longer if I re-colored my hair again 2-3 days after I dyed it. Don't give up on it just yet!

Rubbing alcohol or mouthwash will help remove the color from your skin if this happens again

Also, wear gloves even when rinsing your hair. If you don't just try nail polish remover.

Salons are not always the best place to go with colors like blue and other vibrants. They just never last long as cost a lot anyway. At least from my experience. And I'm a current Cosmetology student.

im just saying this is awesome, and you shouldnt have posted as Anon, or atleast posted a from behind photo of this lol

Stupid+stupid=stupid outcome. Seriously, blue hair? Are you a clown? Just sayin, a greater bein is sending you hints.

Don't worry about the Bathroom at all. bleach cleans it right it was up. as for our body the dye will fade off in 3 days. and your hair, jus re-dye It until it's blue. I suggest the dye: ion
