I agree with #4, and especially #48. This is not an FML.
I personally have no problem with homosexuals. honestly. i know thought it was a funny story. and to be considered gay isn't a bad thing. I think to be considered something i'm not is. especially by my parents who i thought were suppose to know me best.

I don't see how they thought you were gay... They might have just assumed it was a regular same-sex friend, or one of your teachers or co-workers. Since when does "very special guest" mean significant other?

I see your point... I've had male friends over for dinner and I am definitely not gay. And OP, besides, consider yourself lucky! If you ever decided to become gay (haha or even bi) at least you know your parents are accepting!
