I feel for you, but gotta love the irony.
Take protein within 30mins of FINISHING workout, and your body will only proccess 30g/hour so try for a 30g/scoop shake (theyre a little more expensive but deff make a difference) and make sure theres NO creatine in it or youll look like a retardedly formed balloon, and youll be about as weak as one too. as far as the lid.... I have no suggestions.

#19 you're a douche. Way to make the guy feel better. And protein can be taken before or after a workout, if not both (as long as you don't take too much in too short a time span).

woooow freak out people, the best time to take protein is within half an hour after your workout, if you really want fast gains tho, try creatine. But be careful! you have to drink lots of water, and keep working out and also take it with protein. it redistributes water in your cells but if you dont replace the water with muscle aided by protein and lifting then youre just going to get fatso. Ive gained 20 pounds in a year and Im still at 4.6% body fat. It works
