Today, I decided to treat my yeast infection over the counter to avoid going to the doctor. Too bad I didn't read the directions. Now I have to go to the doctor to get the tip of the applicator removed. FML

You deserve it for arbitrarily cramming things in there. You're fortunate it's just an applicator.

Your ****** must be huge if you've been given directions. Most people just get instructions.

dude, I'm 11, and I'm not that stupid... I've had to use it last year, and I didn't need to go to the doctors! Jeebus... Wow.

You deserve it. Read the ******* instructions on anything that you need to cram into your body. Common sense. You get no sympathy at all whatsoever from me. You are a ******* idiot.

I'm really surprised by the number of people who seem to know all about yeast infections....

ydi for having a bakery down there. dont anyone try and convince me that all girls get one bcuz im a 21 year old lady and have never had one. make ur doctor a loaf of sourdough as a gift.

And at 21 you've seen and done it all? I would say you are in the minority rather than the majority. Yeast infections are very easy to contract. Antibiotics, hormonal changes, douching, a lowered immune system....the list goes on and on. When and if it happens to you I hope someone is just as insensitive about your situation as you are now. That said, I DO have a hard time understanding how the "tip" came off. This scenario is not impossible, but it does seem improbable.

21 maybe; lady, definitely not. I'm 22 and I've never had one, but that does not mean I don't know how they happen or that I would stupidly blame someone for a generally unpreventable process.

I'm seventeen, and I get them all the time due to high blood sugar. I started getting them when I was 13. they have nothing to do with sex.
