Today, I decided to try a self-tanning lotion my friend had recommended. I put it on, and decided to take a nap. I woke up later and checked myself in the mirror, expecting to see a new, more tanned version of myself. I didn't. I'm now orange. FML

There is nothing wrong with being pale! I'd rather be white as snow than look like a leather handbag!

You should do the same with hairdye. Apply it, go to sleep, wake up hours later and discover your green hair. You'll look like a walking carrot!

I have to say, I don't know if I believe this. Mostly because you aren't supposed to let your skin touch anything for a certain time after because you risk the lotion getting on something. BUT, if this is real, the OP totally deserves it. There is a reason it tells you to do a test patch! It's not just to test for allergies, it's to gauge it's effect. YDI for not following the directions.

Not one person noticed that this scenario is lifted straight from "Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging." Weak.

Just because it happened in a boo/movie/television show does not mean it can't happen in real life as well. The exception of course being the stuff that obviously isn't likely to happen in real life such as a magical portal sucking you into the netherworld. Heck, the average writer draws there inspiration from real life situations.

i think that's y they suggest to put a little bit on where no one can see it in case it ends up looking weird
