Today, I discovered I have bed bugs. I have nowhere else to sleep and I won't be able to afford a new mattress for at least a year. I'd better get used to these giant welts. FML

Anti-peasents? That's what is wrong with this kingdom, there are too many peasants. We need to find ways to motivate them to grow and harvest food more efficiently. The floggings are just not working like they used to do. That way we can increase our manpower for the construction of the castle. I would like it to be completed in thirty years so I can use the money left over for the training of knights. We also need to widen the forest by the road so there is safe passage through Sherwood Forest.

Apparently they are the only ones keeping you company in bed.

There are plenty of books and online resources telling you how to clean to get rid of bedbugs. It's not just enough to clean the mattress and linen, you'll need to flip over furniture and clean underneath it too. Search 'how to get rid of bedbugs'.

Get a clothes steamer and steam your bed. if you can't buy one borrow or rent one.

Cleanliness (or lack thereof) has little to do with acquiring bed bugs. Certainly, if you clean more often you will inadvertently keep the population down a little, but you can get bed bugs in restaurants, theatres, upscale department stores...pretty much anywhere (they've been all over the news). If they don't take action, they deserve the infestation, but it could happen to anyone.

actually you don't have to be dirty to get bed bugs. bed bugs get on clothes, shoes, bookbags, briefcases, luggage, and they go wherever these items go. so if somebody at work or school has them id keep my distance from these people. and also you are going to need to clean everything. bed bugs multiply

I had the same problem -.- people came in and sprayed the place

Get a plastic sheet for you bed if you can’t afford a new mattress. If you can’t afford that then I’m sure you can get some trash bags and duct tape and make something work. And remember you can always get a free mattress or a cheap one from craigslist but remember you might be better off with the bugs, at least you know where they been or what they done on that bed.

Try to change sheets more than once a year and keep your bedroom tidy, should solve the insect problem.

You just need to make the temperature in your room more than 44°C. Bed bugs die at that temperature. It doesn't cost you anything, and all you need to do is take everything out of your room that could be hurt by the heat.

Vacuum your bed then iron it tho make sure you dont set your mattrass on fire and get some phenergan
