Sorry to hear about losing your house but really theres no reason you shouldnt have been able to tell your sister was under the influence of something at least. You should have noticed behavior changes as well as physical changes in her. You didnt deserve to lose your house for sure but maybe being a little more observant could have prevented this in the first place.
