Today, I discovered that my mother uses my eyebrow tweezers to pull ticks off the dog. She also hasn't figured out that just dipping the tweezers in alcohol doesn't automatically sterilize them. Especially if there is icky dog hair still stuck on. FML

Actually, alcohol will kill most bacteria, so you're wrong. But I agree that it's sick that she's using them in the first place, and going through the trouble of sterilizing them without removing the hair. There's tweezers at Walgreen's for a dollar and they work just fine on my eyebrows... if you're not a caveman, it shouldn't be a big deal to get a new one (at least she wasn't using your hairbrush on the dog and GIVING you ticks).

no offense but ur momma is a dumb bitch and mean too!

Most dogs have a pretty good immune system. A simple dip in alcohol is usually enough before removing ticks.

This is a stupid complaint and I'm surprised how people agree with it. Firstly, if you pull a tick off a dog, it doesn't magically hide on the tweezers; you can see it and dispose of it (burn it) immediately. Secondly, alcohol does sterilize bacteria and pathogens, although if you draw blood while pulling a tick then you're just doing it wrong anyway. Lastly, IT'S JUST ******* DOG HAIR!!! Get over it already.

You deserve it because you used the word icky.

You're lucky your dog isn't dead if your mum is constantly removing ticks from it, particularly when that's not the best method for removing them. Often you can leave the head behind which carries the poison. And really, 'icky dog hair'?? Are you five??

Ydi BC u used the word icky. Dafuq wrong w u?

Ummm actually dipping them in alcohol will sterilize it... The dog hair is nasty though

actually, it does sterilize them. Hair doesn't carry any communicable diseases, meaning that it's just aesthetically gross, suck it up
