She got cawught a little too late. :(
Reminds me of the family guy episode where Brian gives Lois a dead bird as a present. Lol. Just throw it out and clean it up. Your daughter has a good heart.
OP's daughter was tweet to try to save the bird. Too bad she forgot the follow up appointment.
If ops kid is under 6 id recommend saying you found it and luckily took it to the vet, no good will come of making them feel like a bird killer! explain how the bird 'could have' died had u not found it! My guess is the bird was pretty well dead or the parents would have heard it under the bed. My 3 year old found an injured bird a few days back and I told her to put that toy back on the neighbours garage sale table. Luckily she said it wasnt a toy!!
Your daughter is either 5 years old or she is just stupid.
Poor bird omg :( reading stories like this really breaks my heart! My prayers go out to that bird!
i bet you probably say that after everything bad. like when you cut someone off on the highway..." my prayers go out to you" or you run over a squirrel... " my prayers go out to you" then off to the next tragedy.
shut up. loser.

R.I.P to all forgotten birds left to rot underneath beds
I just hope the bird was already dead when your daughter "saved it" from the cat so it didn't have to die slowly and painfully under the bed!
