Today, I drove 45 min from my college to surprise my girlfriend with roses after she got off work. She responded by taking the roses, dumping them in her back seat, and speeding off because she couldn't miss Survivor. FML

Well no, see the thing is this. Most girls say they want a nice guy that does things for them like OP did with the roses. The instant they find said nice guy they immediately get scared that the guy's going to want a commitment and they run or make up some bullshit excuse. Thus, women have noone else to blame but themselves for why there are "no more nice guys" around. But to OP find the flowers, give them to her again. Tell her to shove them up her ass and that she's been voted off your island.
