Today, I drove three and a half hours to surprise my long distance boyfriend for our anniversary. He was out of town. Where was he? Three and a half hours away trying to surprise me. FML

Today, I got a phone call from my boyfriend, who screamed at me for being a f-ing liar and never taking time for him. He'd called my work and knew I wasn't there as I said I'd be. He was right - I was lying. I'd been driving for the past 10 hours to his family's beach house to surprise him. FML

This isn't an FML. Go put it on a website asking for stories about how amazing your boyfreind is. A funny coincidence, but not an FML. I completely agree with #156 too. This is great for you. When that happens, you laugh, because it's funny. It's like the christmas story about the woman who sold her hair to buy a gold cover for her husbands pocket watch, and then the husband comes home and it turns out he sold the pocket watch to buy her a beautiful gem-studded comb. Neither of them said, "Well, f**** my life, this sucks."

This isn't an FML. Bad timing, yes, but you didn't drive 3.5 hours and find him with someone else. It's sweet, you can laugh about it together, and then plan a rain-check anniversary celebration. Quit your whining.
