That is awesomely sweet. My gf once tried to surprise me by buying me a cold drink and popping out after my 'exam' (my exam is held in summer). It's the first time we had an exam period since going out and little did she know that i was the type that finish exams early and leaves, so she ended up waiting for everyone to come out but I wasn't there. =(
Oh come on, that's not an fml. It sucks right there and then, but afterwards, that's just awesome.
its sweet in a gift of the magi kind of way. . . just sucks that you didnt actually get to see him. or did you?
It's not really a FML, I think it is cute but surely some bad timing.
It only means that you both love each other and it is pretty funny, theres no way it can affect your relationship in a bad way.
and this is an FML how? You drove 3.5 hours to see him and he ended up doing the same thing. So what? At least you two love each other enough to make these kind of drives. You should have called ahead and see what his plans were. Yes, you risk blowing the surprise if you make it too obvious what you are planning, but at least you get an idea where he may be so that you don't drive 3.5 hours for nothing.
That's when you meet in the middle for a car quickie!
that is adorable. you guys r meant for each other
