because the answers would have been obviously wrong, if they had learned anything in the class they would have been suspicious that something wasn't right...

You didn't deserve to pass... Someone who deserved to pass would have checked the setting...

This REALLY is your fault. You should always check to make sure it's in the right setting. Most teachers warn you about it before beginning the exam Try explaining it to your teacher. Maybe, just maybe she'll be understanding and let you retake. And FYI, I truly hate Trigonometry ( Well, I hate math in general). I hope you pass the class, it's no fun.
