YDI. If you have done your research, know your subject well, and put enough thought and effort into it, you should still be able to present at least something without the aid of a computer. You're not supposed to read word for word off the screen anyway. Unless you did a PowerPoint (it's not 2000 anymore so I hope not), I'm sure there was something in your brain you could have used.
Don't wait for the last second smart stuff.
Wow
does your school not have a computer lab you could have used? if not you could have gone to a library or a friend or family members!
You are supposed to have back up printouts and stuff for situations like that, just saying
That happened to me once as well. I failed. But just make sure to carry a flash drive just Incase. It works good and you'll always have back up no matter what. You're teacher on the other hand, she's stupid
Wait, did you prepare a presentation and lose it when your computer "crapped itself" or did you wait until the last minute to prepare your presentation, and couldn't when your computer crashed? If the former is the case, then bad luck, it happens and depending on your age and level of education, your teacher is a little unfeeling. You should always have a backup of important stuff handy on a USB device, though. Stuff happens before presentations and deadlines, so be prepared. If the latter is the case, you COMPLETELY deserve it. It sounds to me like you were planning on preparing your presentation DURING the lesson immediately preceding the one you needed it for. If this is the case, your own sloppy planning is to blame for your situation. I won't pretend I haven't done this, myself, in highschool, but if I had the chance to talk to my younger self, I would tell myself to get it together and do my homework properly. In either case, I'm inclined to say you deserve it.
YDI for waiting until the class before to prepare your presentation.

It ain't, back ya shit up
I have a feeling a flash drive could have saved the presentation.
