I had a bestfriend that lived in Britain and we use to tell each other everything. That's what you need to do its better not to hold it in. Trust me I know.
Ay m8 sum bollocks there chap.
So what
You can talk to me any time! Reason 1 - I love the UK and any accent from there. Reason 2 - I suffer from mild depression myself.
At least you're not swedish
You British never shut the **** up, yet you can't talk to anyone? Sounds like a bunch of bullocks to me.
I'm not quite sure I understand this one..
I would like to note I didn't get this FML until it was explained, thank you to the many people who explained this =) But to the OP, if you don't feel comfortable going to a therapist, maybe you could try a change of pace? Try a new hobby, get a pet - it doesn't need to be a dog or a cat, it can be something like an exotic fish or a lizard, (I suggest an iguana, the rate they grow at is fascinating) get out of your comfort zone and try new things or meet new people, start exercising - if you already exercise, switch your routine up a little. (I.E.: change where you jog, change your routine, etc.) There's plenty you can do to try and improve your mood; depression isn't just a mental or chemical imbalance, it's also a mind set. Try and focus on the positive or something new (hobby, exercise, and so on) You can do it =)
As a fellow Brit I find this post deeply embarrassing. I'm holding my newspaper high in front of my face so I can pretend I don't see it.

People can't talk about their feelings in the UK? I don't know, try France or somewhere.
