You all have to shut up because all YOU IDIOTS don't know what your saying. Most phones are around 500 dollars, but carriers give it for 0-200 dollars WITH A CONTRACT. The iPhone 3GS is 900 dollars without contract, whose the spoiled bitch now? I got my phone for free, although it's 300 dollars without contract..
103, where the hell do you live?! Most phones are nowhere NEAR $500. I got a brand-new Sony Ericsson W380, a fantastic phone (includes email, decent web browsing, memory card slot [expandable memory FTW], a hidden face-panel screen, and tons of other neat tricks) for $150 Canadian without a contract. I bought it from a phone company I don't even belong to, in fact. The one I had before cost me seventy dollars and even that was a pretty good phone! Phones that cost around or over $500 are usually exorbitant, decadent pieces of well-constructed junk. There's so much dazzle (touch screens and the like) that not only rack up the cost, but also make for a much more vulnerable phone. Chances are you're getting much less, quality-wise. I wouldn't advise spending over $150 for a phone at any time, especially with technology changing so rapidly. It's just not wise. Also, why would you let a five-year-old anywhere near your phone ... that's just a recipe for disaster. I never let kids at my phone. I don't even bring it out around kids if I can help it, just because I know it would be a waste of nearly $200 if something were to happen. Yes, I have insurance, but it's a pain in the ass anyway. YDI, OP. YDI 100%.
#106 I've seen a lot of phones that cost more than $800, my mom's friend's phone cost more than my laptop, especially those imported Korean phones
#106: You fail at making sense.
Duh.

YDI for lacking enough creativity to not be able to make up your own FML, fake or not. This exact one was on here a while ago. It was more specific, though. It went something along the lines of "Today, I got a case for my iPhone. I was showing it off to my friends, bragging about how indestructable the case is. Turns out, it IS destructable when you throw it off a balcony and it gets run over by a car." Someone probably already said this, but I didn't read all the comments. :x
Yea, and I don't imagine that it said that it could on the packaging either, did it?
YDI for reproducing ;)
$2 pack of condoms, and a time travel machine. problem solved.
YDI for having a $500 phone, and I agree with the person talking about how if you need all those extra things you should buy a camera, a computer, etc. it's kind of like the concept of multitasking: you can get a bunch of things done, but the quality of the work will be far superior if you dedicated your full attention to it. likewise, pictures taken by your digital camera will more than likely turn out to be far superior to those taken by your iphone, which has the capacity for music, videos, internet, apps, conversations, texting and god knows what else.

Sell the kid, get a new phone. Problem solved.
YDI for throwing a five year old of a four story balcony.
