Today, I figured out why the man I've been seeing for 3 years hasn't asked for my hand in marriage. His current wife called me and told me all about it. FML

actually totono, she would be charged with the willful spreading of infectious diseases; which to my understanding can be a federal offense. That also would have the second charge of the spread of biological material with intent to harm. That's a little charge we have in my state for say, spiting, urinating or throwing feces at officers, and can be applied in a case such as that. But this all being hypothetical, who cares it was a shit move on his part.

YDI. There is no way you could be dating seriously for three years and not have known he was married or at least seeing someone else. Three years without spending a holiday with him, without meeting anyone in his family or any of his friends? If you didn't know, you should have known. You deserve it.

Not true--a lot of times when these things happen it's a "long distance relationship" where he lives several cities or states away. if he claimed he had a job that kept him away on holidays or for certain parts of the year, both the wife and girlfriend could buy it. Not to mention "friends" cover for friends all the time. Never underestimate the ability of a con artist.
