Ugh, obviously this is fake. If you have a Bachelor's, MAYBE I would have believed it... but law school? There is a reason it's hard to get into these types of professional schools, and hard to stay in.
whoops, replied to the wrong comment
Try to see if you can get a job working for a lawyer as a law clerk or for the courts delivering subpoenas then it will will give you a chance to make some connections in your field.
Well at least now you'll have something to add to your resume when you apply for jobs as an attorney: "Education: Law school graduate with honors" "Work Experience: stocking shelves at Wal-Mart"
the sad thing is you're inherently overqualified for entry level work and I'm sure no one in corporate level will be giving up their cushy jobs soon. :/
I've been unemployed for 10 months (unless you count the occasional sign-spinning or handing out flyers gigs). I can't even get a job at Walmart. Or McDonalds. Or any number of jobs that hire all kinds of slobs.
likewise, the economy just plain SUCKS, I know plenty of people, college graduate and not, who don't have a job and cannot find one. This year, Six Flags reported a record number of adults applying for positions usually given to teenagers, it's that bad. Good luck, ive been filling out those applications every day for months, I have grown to absolutely despise "Kronos" and "Unicru" for their 20+ page psychology tests on their applications, and so many places use them that it is getting so tedious day after day.
You could make a lot more money working for a freelance court reporter, editing and proofing depositions. Kinda makes you wish you'd skipped law school and become a stenographer, huh?
Hi - I understand what you are going through. Although the economy was not as bad in 1995 when I graduated from law school, I could not immediately find a job after graduation. I was living in a big city where I had gone to law school, and could not afford to stay there and look for a job much longer. I got a job at Blockbuster. It was not easy as people I went to school with frequented the place but I had to swallow my pride and do what was necessary. It only motivated me to get where I wanted to go. I ultimately took a job making barely enough to get by and make my law school loan payments. That first year was really hard. Now, I am a partner in a huge Big 4 accounting firm and making more money than I ever imagined. So, just keep your chin up - you will get there too. Believe in yourself and stay positive. Don't give up. I have seen people give up, and coming back after that is extremely difficult. Once you get bar results, more employers will be willing to talk to you. Just hang in there. This too shall pass.
Who cares, to be honest. You couldn't find a job, nor can a lot of people right now. So piss off and bring it up again when the economy isn't shit. Good luck paying off the debt you likely have, though.
A college degree is the most expensive piece of paper that's completely worthless you'll ever have. Good luck finding a job, though.

That really sucks. Damn the economy! I hope you find something better soon.
Yes, how DARE the OP expect a fair return on her investment in law school.
