Why would your debit card be in the front of your wallet or even accessible if your account is essentially empty? It's not like you were able to make impulse buys anyway.
I did that once but I just explained it to the gas station cashier and they reversed the charge on my card and charged my fleet card.
Reimbursement? Just claim it back
a full tank is only 40 ? in my country a full tank is about €56.-
In OP's defense, I get paid every Thursday and that money STILL doesn't cut it for me or more than half my friends after bills and expenses.. And we make 12.60/hr.
Hey at least our fuel prices have dropped, even better if your company car is a diesel... also, this FML is local to me, that's humbled me for some reason.

Can't you just tell the company and they'll give it you back under expenses?
Keep the receipt and keep track of the mileage. You should be able to receive your money after letting them know about that error and proving it was for the company car.
