And you believed that bull?? Hello, he just wanted to sleep with you with no strings attached.... Honestly, most men r like that. And he tried to let u down in a way that doesnt hurt ur feelings, and so he can keep sleeping with you.

I think it sounds like he doesn't want a serious relationship. He might have said "as a friend" but maybe he wants to keep sleeping with you but nothing more. Hope you are okay.. <:/
