Today, I finally figured out why my 5 year-old daughter washes her hair every day. It's because she doesn't want to have "yucky greasy hair like her mommy." FML

One simple trick

Today, I realized I've been using conditioner instead of shampoo for the last month. I was wondering why my hair never felt clean but always smelled great. Now I have to explain to my friends that my new "shampoo routine" was actually just expensive conditioner and ignorance. FML

Today, my mom was proud for making a positive change in her life. The change in question? She now throws away the smelly hair she combs out of the dog, instead of keeping it for unspecified later use. FML

Today, my step-dad explained to me why he doesn't need to wash his body. He condescendingly said, "Well when you shampoo your hair, the soap runs down your body and cleans everything." He's 37 years-old. FML

Honestly? It really depends on your hair type. It's best to wash it everyday, but some people can't, because it'll get dry, fall out, etc. It's also actually bad/unhygienic to wait more than three days to wash you hair.

Acctually it's not best to wash your hair everyday. Every stylist I have talked to has said it's better to wash every other day not every day. I also used to work at a beauty store that has a salon so I know.

I love how people are arguing over when you should wash your hair. The point of the FML isn't that the OP should wash their hair every day or every other, it's the the OP CLEARLY needs to wash more no matter what, because if a five-year-old can identify their hair is greasy there is a definite problem. (All though I'll add in my two cents for the one day vs. more discussion and say I wash my hair every day most of the time, because I'm a swimmer and the effects of chlorine are worse than what supposedly washing my hair every day will do to it.)
