Today, I finally got the courage to tell the guy I liked how I felt by making him a mix CD. Confident, I gave it to him. After class, I went to the trash can to throw some paper away. I saw my mix CD in the trash. FML

Today, at college, the weird guy who stares at me every day came over, said, "I've made you a mixtape," then handed me an old, empty Queen's Greatest Hits CD case and scuttled off. FML

it goes, talk to him, figure out if he likes you, then mix CD. unless he says no, than it's still mix CD time, only with depressing songs instead of i love you songs.

Maybe OP is shy? Either way, it was a nice attempted gesture. Maybe it was too out of the blue for this guy though if you hadn't talked to him much before this. His reaction was really rude though, so move on to someone who appreciates you and your music.

Why make a mix CD for someone you have a crush on? Fair enough if you've been going out for a while and know all the things that you're Boyfriend would like but my bet is you hardly know him, I think most people would find that pretty creepy to be honest, especially if he had no idea that you liked him. YDI for being too eager.

So just act like you didn't see the CD, walk right up to him and ask him what his fav. song was. If he can't answer you just tell him "I hope my CD wasn't garbage to you."
