People are idiots to say YDI. You can't control who you find attractive any more than gay or straight people. The key is to obviously not act on it. You don't need professional help UNLESS you act on it. You can not force yourself to not feel that way but you CAN redirect feelings to someone unrelated to you. I tried for over a year to force my brain to "only think hetero" due to religion. It ended up with nothing but tears and shame. I accept myself. I have smoking hot female cousins, but I wouldn't ever touch them.
