they don't have to say it back the first time. she was probably surprised. when my dad said he loves my mom the first time my mom said "huh?" and thy have been married 25 almost 26 years. it doesn't mean she doesn't love you back.

Don't feel too bad. At least she didn't lie and say it back. My (now ex) bf told me he loved me at about 4 months as well. All I could say is "I like you." he didn't get mad and we kept dating. Lasted three and a half years. Maybe if you don't get mad then you two will last that long or longer :)
