By dancer, not a hooker... - 05/05/2013 05:01 - Canada - Penticton

Today, I finished a dance competition. With competitions, it requires you to wear a lot of makeup like false eyelashes and red lipstick. I went into a Starbucks to get a coffee and a boy around 18 asked me, in all seriousness, what my rate is for one night. FML

She said. It's free as long as I get a stage and a big audience.

It's not like you looked natural and he said that. You made yourself look that way, plus so you could have taken it off beforehand. You knew why he said that, so don't be so offended. YDI, not FML worthy.

He wasn't serious, he was making fun if the whorish way you looked

well they do say "bands will make her dance".

Why didn't you wash it off after the competition?

Take it as a compliment, if he asked for the nightly rate, it means its more of the girlfriend thing ;) he could have asked, "what can I get for $100"

This has happened to me before too OP. Dance competitions are demanding.

I was in the drama club in high school, and we'd leave our makeup on to go eat after shows. It was pretty fun going out in public in *****-y makeup...
