MzZombicidal tells us more.
This actually happened a couple months ago, but I'm currently very happy with my new job (I work as a sales associate for my local grocery store, if you're wondering). I WAS very happy for my friend but I couldn't help but to be irritated at her luck of continuously quitting and finding jobs with ease (She works with elderly people). I had been near the breaking point when I finally got the job. My best friend, however, has continuously quit jobs and gotten new ones in no time. We obviously work in different fields and, even though I seemed jealous, I was very happy to hear she was able to land on her feet after quitting her job. We joke about it now and she apologized if she seemed rude and all is fine. :) I love the people I work with and am getting good pay. Win win! We're both happy with our current positions and things couldn't be better!

Sounds like this one girl I used to be friends with. She would quit a job bcuz she didn't like 1 person or something stupid like that and find another job the next day. I've been searching for a job for about a year and a half and have yet to get one -.-
Be lucky you found one, OP! I've been looking for a job since I graduated (2009), and my ex bestfriend seems to find jobs so easily even though she's on welfare and a single mom. It seems unfair to me, but that's how my town works! Poorest county of all in California!
Believe it or not there are a lot of places that will hire a single mom on welfare because it makes the company seem charitable. Like they're helping those that seem to need it most.
there are so few jobs out there these days i was trying for a year and nothing and then my mother in law put in a good word where she works and i got a job. if u dont know someone you have no chance. sad but true. im not proud of it but i needed the money and the resume
How can you expect support if you don't feel like supporting her? Come on now...
