Today, I found an injured rabbit by the side of the road. I was about to take it to the local vet, when my husband picked it up and casually snapped its neck. "No rabbit's worth my money" he said, forgetting that he's been a jobless moocher for over 3 years. Pass me the goddamn divorce papers. FML

The big difference is that he didn't do it out of mercy, but selfishness and with a clear lack of empathy. And if the vet couldn't take care of it they probably would've called a wildlife rehab place.

Hahahahaha.... All of you saying a 'snapped neck' is a "painless/suffering free way to die"? Come here. Let me snap your neck and watch as you suffocate over the course of five to ten minutes of consciousness. I'm sure that the fear and and instinctive, panicked drive to live Won't Hurt At All. Snapping a human neck and snapping a rabbit neck are completely different. The rabbit was suffering and OP's mooching husband put it down. Rabbits multiply and are eaten everyday, not just by us humans, but predators as well. The way I see it, you're just looking to murder humans
