Today, I found my mom throwing my very expensive and important medication down the toilet. She thought I was doing drugs. FML

Wouldnt your mom know if you are on medication?

May I ask why your mom would throw out your meds without asking you first? Unless they are drugs hidden in Rx bottles in which case your mom just pwned your ass.

ROFL this almost made my day XD

umm she would know you were on medication because she would of probably taken you to the doctors and paid for the prescription and she would know if you were sick

Um yeah, not everyone on this site is 12 years old. Plenty of people are capable of going to the doctors by themselves, and paying for their own prescriptions, which seems likely being that the OP said the medication was expensive. All that being said it might be a good idea for the OP to tell their parents if they really did have an illness that required important medication, especially if they were staying in the same house for any length of time.

Maybe the OP is really embarrassed by their illness... or it's one that they are unwilling to admit to having?

maybe the person is deprrssed or something, or has an std and doesnt want their parents to know? thats how i read it. also to everyone sayin zomgitmustbedrugs becuz they emphasize that its important and expensive, just think. if it was some cheap generic tylenol or something for the sniffles, it wouldnt be an fml now would it.

Today, I murdered my mother because she flushed my last Tylenol down the toilet thinking I was doing drugs. I now have a sore asshole from being raped in jail but the worst part is, my head is still pounding. FML

Solution: if your mom loves you and wants you alive, have her pay for the replacement. Then again, this is probably her way of intentionally killing you off.

that just sucks, for your health and your wallet :P

Did it ever occur to you that they were visiting their parents after moving out? Or that their parents were visiting them?

"Important" is a relative term. I had to pay a lot of money for medicine for a urinary tract infection a few years back. I considered that medicine VERY important because I was in such a state of discomfort I couldn't go to work, couldn't sleep. It wasn't life threatening but it was awful, and I didn't talk to my dad about it because frankly, he doesn't need to know that I have something like that. My dad and I are close, but I rarely discuss the goings-on of my privates with him.

Woah, dude, where have you been? I feel like I haven't seen your comments in years.

So you live at home, and your Mom didn't know you were on an expensive and very important medication? Apparently you live at home and ignore your folks, so I'm going to have to say YDI.
