Today, I found out I'm being sued by the man whose life I practically saved a month ago. He says the way I pulled him out of the car he was trapped in has left him with permanent back problems. FML

the good Samaritan laws protect you. as long as the car you pulled him out of was unsafe he can't sue you for doing that.

Sue him for traumatizing you due to seeing his accident, and his bad driving. Then sue the city for not providing you with appropriate protection for doing their jobs.

the good samaritain law will protect you unless you have done something to make the injury worst such as jump onto his chest either than doing cpr, if the car was on fire or was a hazard to his life at that moment you did the right thing by pulling him out... you shouldnt worry about this.
