I sympathize OP. Painkillers or sedatives can really mess with you. The first time they tried to pull my wisdom teeth... I'd just had a death in the family, was 2 weeks out from starting college, 1 week out from major leg surgery and had assorted other upheavals in life. They gave me the "conscious sedation" option... I cried for 5 hours. This is also the reason it was only an *attempt.* They could get the upper one, but not the two on my lower jaw. (Yes, that count is right. I only had three.)

I could barely walk to the car when I had mine out. I wasn't recovering as fast from going under as most other kids did.

I'm so glad I had my wisdom teeth out before camera phones were even invented. Back then, it was Tylenol with codeine. Last year I had an emergency tooth extraction and got Vicodin (plus antibiotics for the infection that necessitated the anesthesia). Luckily there is no video of me puking into the little barf basin they give you post-surgery.

Next time, give your mom the phone before you're high on the drugs. But at least you weren't intoxicated. I don't envy anyone getting their wisdom teeth removed.
