How is this an FML? Unless she was saying this directly to your face to put you down, then this could be nothing more then the mom having known the ex long enough to consider her a daughter, or her just prefering the ex to you. If it's the first, you need to put your pig-girl panties on and realize that just because you're dateing their kid doesn't mean the parents are going to automatically invite you into the family and make your their 'daughter'. If it's the second, well, not everyone's gonna like you. It's a fact, deal with it.
