Today, I found out my class was attempting to raise money for me through a bake sale because some girl spread a false rumor that I was raped and that my father was going to disown me. The whole school believes it and my biology teacher took me aside and asked if I needed someone to confide in. FML

that's a really ****** up thing to do, but at least your class and your teacher care about you enough to do something to help. that is rare indeed and you should be thankful for that. but still, it sucks that you have to deal with that rumor.

that sucks. But you should wait until the bake sale is over, get all the money, and then tell them that all of this wasnt true. Then you get the money and they finally understand!

definitely tell the truth and don't take the money plus rat the girl out who did it - she's got severe issues after all thinking saying stuff like that's alright. unfortunately you'll never be able to make everyone believe you and so I'd make sure to tell your parents about it and talk with them about it as things continue. unfortunately these kinds of rumors do happen and often result In the victims family having to move in the end.
