Today, I found out my class was attempting to raise money for me through a bake sale because some girl spread a false rumor that I was raped and that my father was going to disown me. The whole school believes it and my biology teacher took me aside and asked if I needed someone to confide in. FML

Today, I had to attend a meeting with my parents, my teacher, and my bully and his parents. When we started, my bully "broke down" and "tearfully" told the teacher that I was the one bullying him, and that he was getting blamed to cover it all up. They believed him. FML

Today, I asked my school counselor in strict confidence for advice on how to help a friend of mine, who has bulimia. When I got home, I found out that "someone" had called my parents and told them that I'm bulimic. They won't believe the truth. FML

Today, I discovered that my supposed 'friend' was spreading rumours about me and my other friends. We confronted her, but then she started crying and playing the victim so everyone would feel sorry for her, then spread more rumours. My friends and I have done nothing to her. FML

s'wrong with u people?! 1. it's high skool and getting rid of a rumor isn't as easy as calling it a lie and 2. people will think she just doesn't want to talk about it or is emmbarrassed or traumatized to tell the truth.

tell everyone the truth-they obviously really care about you, so they shouldnt mind that much.......and if its too late for them to give the money back, they can donate it to charity. you cant keep that money though-that would be just as bad as the girl spreading the rumour.

I knew a girl who made up rape rumors about herself. O.o She would "confide" in someone whenever they were better friends with her. The story changed every time. Pretty much, she claimed every guy she ever dated raped her.
