Today, I found out my mom was getting remarried, to my dad. He's been in prison for five years because he pushed her out a window. FML

Are you a minor? If you are tell someone. A teacher, a trusted adult, anyone. You can stop this from happening. Your mother has no right to put her child in the same home as an abuser. Once you tell someone, your mother will have a decision to face: leave the man she "loves" and keep her child safe, or marry this man but risk having her child taken away. Either way, you'll likely not be in the situation. My mom was a battered woman as well. She left my father when she realized that she was about to lose her two kids for him. Sometimes, all she needs is that risk to realize what realize what really matters. If you're legally an adult, try to find a way to move out. If you don't live with her, I don't know. That's her choice. Try to talk to her and remind her what that man has done. Tell her that you won't speak to her if she marries him. Say anything that might make her come to her senses.

Just knock his ass out, put him on the roof edge and wake him up quickly, startling him.

What lesson have we learnt? next time...Top floor!!! Hey, if your mother is a parachutist , she should sign a life assurance, Don´t you think so? In my opinion this is the best investment of the year.

You may want to give your mom this number: 1.800.799.SAFE Domestic Violence Hotline. I doubt he's changed at all. She'll be needing that number soon.

NEVER trust a person who did such a thing to you! I think very few persons like that can change. I would snap at my mum if she did something stupid like that.

you don't deserve it, but she sure does if not for any other reason than to hope your dad beats some sense into her this time.
