alaskaintexas tells us more.
Her maid of honor is already married, and she's not getting married for the second time. I just married her brother. And btw, I'm planning her wedding with her mother, not her.

Spike the punch ;)
Just because she is one of your best fiends doesn't mean she is one of yours. I hate when someone automatically assumes they will get the same deal.
I'm assuming she USED to be your sister-in-law?
You got served!!!
Maybe you'll give her food poisoning, ruin her events leading up to the big day, fall in love with a cop, and at the wedding, discover the meaning of true friendship.
I can understand HOPING to be in A close friends wedding but expecting to be just isn't fair. It's hard choosing a wedding party because you don't want people's feelings to get hurt. If you want to still help out with the planning and stuff I'm sure she would want you to and it would show that you don't care if you're the maid of honor, you're still a good friend.
She's your in-law? Well talk to your brother, spouse, or whoever let her become your sister-in-law. And remind her that it would be nice if she would return the favor.
it's her day not yours. I'm pretty sure she probably has you doing that for a reason. QUITCHA BITCHIN. (: with all intentions in a joking way, but seriously It could be worse.
