Today, I found out that after reuniting with an old boyfriend, getting close with his two year old son, and moving closer to him to properly be a part of their lives, he got back together with his ex wife. FML

Well that does suck, but if you care for his kid then just think that its better for the kid that his parents are together. And didn't you kind of see it coming? How long were they apart for?

OP, valuable lesson learned. If it didn't work out the first time then it's probably not going to work out again. Also, not worth it turning your whole life upside down unless you are sure it's serious for both of you. Doesn't sound like it was serious for him at all. Next time use better judgment.

Lol. :) OP, it was nice of you to do all of that for your ex and their son, but if they want to get back together to try and make it work for their son, you should let them try and work it out. I feel for you, in the way that he should not have lead you on, if he was going to get back with his ex-wife. But, it happens. You are going to have to try and move on. FYL.
