Today, I found out that as a supervisor, if you reprimand a female worker and end the conversation with, "Now get back to making sandwiches," your boss will consider it sexism and suspend you. I work at Subway. FML

Today, while working at Subway I joked with a customer asking him if he was going to order in Spanish. The women in front of him began yelling about how I was being racist and told my manager that I needed to be fired. The customer I was joking with was my Spanish teacher. FML

Today, I found out that if I say "make a sandwich", it doesn't matter what context it's in, or whether it's a command or just me describing my day; I'll be yelled at anyway by my hipster roommate for being a "sexist cunt", then end up apologizing just to get her to shut up. FML

Today, while working at Subway, I was called a "terrorist" and other names by a customer 'behind my back'. I made him the best sandwich I'd ever made, in order to leave a good impression. Then I had to say the wonderful words, "Your total is $9.11." FML

Who would end a reprimand buy telling the person to get back to the job they were doing? Erm... EVERYONE! I had a boss tell me to get back to cleaning because, guess what! I WAS A CLEANER!!! It's not him being sexist, it's him telling me the conversation is over and I should continue with my work!

You know when you laugh at something because you think it sounds dirty and people say you have a dirty mind? Clearly the boss is sexist. I would have taken that as a 'get back to work' not a 'haha you're a woman, get back in the kitchen'. Or the member of staff doesn't like you and wanted to get you into trouble.
