how long has he been in? there would be ALOT of signs it was bs. most units have fb and twitter not to mention the frg. all would have mentioned an impending deployment. I'm curious how he managed to fake a deployment ceremony. I could not imagine any reason not to attend.

uh, retirement has not been removed entirely, lol. the retirement setup has been changed, but if you were in the military prior to the change, you're grandfathered in.

YDI for not noticing alot of things. for instance, that his unit was not deployed, and if his unit was deployed, that he was nondeployable for some reason and was rear d, not noticing the lack of FSP, HDP, etc. But FYL for being married to a lying cheating scum bag. Before deployments there are deployment briefs, deployment ceremonies, etc. Did you not have to take him for bag drop? It's not as simple as, hey, i'm deploying, see you in a year! Hopefully you can get him out of your life and get a pretty penny for it.
