Today, I found out that my classmates hate me so much that they have a seating arrangement where people have to sit next to me on a rotating basis. A fight broke out yesterday because someone tried to skip their turn. FML

Today, I found out why two of my friends race downstairs to each other to the cafeteria everyday at lunch; apparently there's only one free seat at the table with the rest of their friends, and the loser has to eat lunch with me. FML

Today, while on the bus, I found out the seat I'd taken was the preferred spot of a very hostile and extremely overweight freshman. Instead of letting me find different place to sit, she half sat on me, and completely ignored my attempts to dislodge myself all the way to school. FML

Today, it's my first day of high school. It's also my first day of a three-day in-school suspension. The reason? I sat next to a girl and she immediately got up and told the teacher that she didn't "feel safe". FML

Today, two girls who are in my class tried to talk to me about each other, not knowing the other had already spoken to me. They are best friends, but also hate each other, and seem to have taken me as the one to shit talk to about each other constantly. FML

It's okay, OP. In grade 7 my class was taken to a restaurant and there was only one seat still open so a girl started crying because she had to sit next to me. I wasn't an asshole or anything, just different (quiet, into books, not into sports). People in school tend to be jerks. Unless you're the one being the jerk, don't worry about it - just ignore them. Fitting in at school isn't important. You'll find your place.

I'm seeing one of two possibilities here. 1: You're misunderstood and you should literally leave that place far behind asap. 2: You might need to re-evaluate yourself and how you treat others. No judgement, it could seriously go both ways.
