Today, I found out that my classmates hate me so much that they have a seating arrangement where people have to sit next to me on a rotating basis. A fight broke out yesterday because someone tried to skip their turn. FML

doc, on this I have to disagree with you. sometimes, people make a snap decision on whether someone deserves to be treated with respect or not, then refuse to ever change that opinion.

Kids hate on other kids for sometimes the most stupid of reasons. Those options are possibilities, but the kids could just be being mean to be mean. The group mentality could of even fell into play. It could of started off with a couple of kids not liking the OP for whatever reason, and eventually the rest started doing it too over time. (Possibly with the kids not in the know being forced to sit by the OP and then made fun of for being friends with the OP.) Just a couple possibilities though..

There isn't always a reason. I still deal with it in college. I assume it's because I go to a college full of rich wealthy students who have only seen life as either the popular kids in high school or through money-tinted glasses. On the really bad days I just get myself a hot chocolate and pretend that most of them don't exist.

There's always a reason. While you judge them, they judge you. If every single person in the class doesn't fit your criteria as likeable, perhaps you're just too judgmental and come across as bitter or hateful?

If that many people have a shared hate for you, there's a reason. I doubt that many people are being assholes for fun. But who knows.

People don't need more reason then that their friend doesn't and if your cool then You wont. I went through it all the way into 11th grade. Better saying **** them and doin your own thing. If you have no enemies your doing something wrong.

who cares about them, if they want to treat you that way and have no time to get to know you then you shouldn't care what they think. Just ignore them and have fun.

Don't worry about them, they are just singling you out for whatever reason i am not sure, but it does not seem right. Just ignore it op, if they are those kind of people i wouldn't want them near me anyway. So next time this happens just say i don't care, keep your scary asses away from me bitches!!!
