Today, I found out that my dad writes really weird and scary slash fiction involving characters from all of the CSI TV show franchises. FML

At least it's slash fiction and not erotic

Maybe that's just the stuff YOU read, Alan. :P

How did you find out it was characters from ALL of the CSI TV shows? Did a little "research" I see?

No, his dad didn't know any of the names either... "The black guy from CSI New York looked deep into the eyes of the other Hispanic chick from CSI Miami (not the one I referenced before, the other one). Anyway, they totally ended up doing it on David Caruso's desk."

Or maybe the op is a fan of the show and knew the names

And? He's probably writing scary crimes for them to solve.

Before or after they get out of the bedroom..? Seeing as that's what slashfiction is all about.

Slasher fiction is a very fast growing genre. Even Stephen King has dabbled in it and speaks highly of some of the authors. Unless Pops starts disappearing at night with all the steak knives and coming home with squishy sounding trash bags, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Read the thread on #1's comment. slash fiction and slasher fiction are vastly different.

The problem is we're not sure which OP is referring to. OP may be just as confused about it as the FML community

Get him into creative writing classes so it's at least good slash fiction :)

Oh wow! Well, even if it's not your cup of tea, it's someone else's. I read fan fiction. Not into slash but I'm always impressed when someone really has a grasp on the show and makes you feel like what they've written is part of the world that the show comes from.

We all need hobbies. Be grateful it's not **** or murder.

Uhhh I seriously hope you don't count murder as a hobby... Do you? O-o

It could be worse OP, this might just be his hobby

I would like to read these stories.

It seems that half the people who are commenting don't realize what slash is...

Or they don't care, plenty of films on the same genre, not exactly uncommon.

The issue is that OP used "Slash" in the context of fanfiction, meaning it more likely involve wining and dining or gratuitous sex than would be involved in a slash film...

At least he found something worthwhile to do in his spare time. There are worse hobbies out there
