Today, I found out that my father, who is divorced from my mother, has set up a lawsuit against her and that I am required to go to court and testify against her as a witness. I've tried to keep neutral for six years, and I'll go to jail if I don't show up. FML

Indeed your life sucks...Hardcore. I'd talk to an attorney to find out my rights if I were you. Especially since you're neutral on the issue, why should you have to testify?

All you have to do is tell what happened right? So be honest in that, you can give your view of the situation as a witness and don't just have to say yes or no to a bunch of questions
