Sometimes having an odd man out can be just as awkward as being the odd man out. But sometimes you just need someone to drive the car. Run stupid races, I'm pretty sure they don't walk back to the starting line if it's not a loop. White water rafting? Someones gotta drive. it's ok to have friends that use you for something as long as you get something of value out of the relationship. If not, time to find more friends.

It's a good thing you don't drink...but you are in control...take them somewhere safe but unknown to them so they know not to be jerks to you

I hate the people who go to parties and can't have fun with their friends without alcohol. It's pathetic that they can't enjoy themselves at a party with all their friends without needing to drink. If you can't have a good time with a group of friends at a party or other social gathering without needing to drink then you're just a boring person in general and need new friends.

This is literally what happens to me. My friend only invites me because I can drive. She drinks the entire time and I have to drive her home.

I used to be like that. As in - I'd be the designated driver (mostly), because I used to work all weekend with a 6am start. So I really didnt care that I drove. (I had the nicest car, anyway). But then I bought a ute. Only fitting 1 other person meant I couldnt drive everyone anymore... sooooo....... New friends, for you, OP...

They are the ones who need to get drunk to have fun, while you don't.
