I'm saying you deserved it because who the hell doesn't notice that much money going missing for MONTHS? And if you have so much money that you really didn't notice, then I'm thinking it's cruel to ask your (obviously broke) girlfriend to pay half the rent anyway. You might want to try breaking it down by percentages based on what each person can afford if there's such a disparity. Unless she's retarded and really thought this was a legitimate way to pay rent. In which case you still deserved it for taking advantage of a special needs adult.
