Your mother said "on of their best projects", I assume the others were the siblings. Anyway, your sister's reaction says that she isn't very mature and must be either very young or very demanding. Either way, her behaviour should be addressed.
Obviously your sister missed the part were your mom said "one of their best projects"...not only best...
Meh, ps4's comin soon anyway, you can wait 6 months
I'm sure you wouldn't mind going and chucking your consoles then, after all new ones are coming out in six months.
gonna keep my 360 when I get Xbox one because it's not backwards compatible :L
Assuming the person who broke it's paying? Ofc.
(reffering to your picture) DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW OFFENSE THAT IS?!
Sisters are evil
poor ps3...
Your parents could make a metal sculpture with it.
Look on the bright side, the PS4 was just announced, and you seem to have a good bargaining position...
It's pretty harsh to go to that extreme, but then again, we don't know her situation, maybe she is continually shunned and is crying out for attention, hence the massive reaction.
I say break something that's very valuable to her. Otherwise, she's just going to think she can break your things without consequence. The only way to deal with people like that is to make it absolutely clear that you will not just take their bullshit. Trust me, I know.
So the answer to this situation is to have OP lower himself to his sister's level and break something valuable of her's? Trust me, I definitely don't agree with what his sister did, but breaking something of her's makes OP look like an asshole like his sister. There's other ways to handle this situation.... Doing to them what was done to you isn't the answer.
"Lowering himself to her level" sounds all great and noble in theory. However, the end result is an entitled little shit who thinks she can break his things without consequences. Feeling sufficiently smug about things isn't going to help when your expensive electronics are being smashed because she heard something she doesn't like.
I was going to say he should steal something valuable of hers and sell it to replace the PS3. OP gets his his stuff back AND revenge.
Now you have an excuse to break her phone. =D jk, though lol.

I /really/ hope some punishment is delivered for that!! I hate favoritism as much as the next sibling, but that is not the way to go about it!
Probably why you're the favorite, your sibling sounds like a spoiled brat
