Today, I found out that the motorcycle I paid cash for was an illegal import. My plates are canceled, I have to turn in the bike for it to be destroyed, and the seller has vanished off the face of the planet. FML

That's shitty OP, sorry to hear about that. I hope maybe your insurance can help in some way (if you had it by the time all this happened) but I guess even though you got the raw end of the deal, it's a lesson learned: buy from a dealership so you at least have the paperwork to prove you got ******.
