It might because you say "me knew" it wad of " I knew"
What are you even trying to say...
Learn English before you try to correct someone else's, which, by the way, "me" is the correct word.
#14, please take a 6th grade English class before making an idiot of yourself. YDI.
Was this an office code of some sort? How did the rest of them know? Was it meant to be a meaningless and cruel practical joke?
Aww.. That's horrible. They got your hopes up, just to drop a major let down. I hope you get a job with people who aren't so rude. :)
That sucks op :( I hope you find a better job quickly!
By full time, she meant; gone from the company full time
Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Good luck with the job hunt!
Oh wow that's mean! Maybe your dream job is coming your way and you just needed to be free for it.
Sorry for your loss OP
Thanks for the kindness. Honestly, the shock of being let go has made this a less than fun week, but my boss was prone to this kind of catty behavior, so long-term it's going to be much healthier for me to work elsewhere. To answer some of the questions: We had put a meeting on the books at the beginning of January to reevaluate my role and talk about moving me onto a full-time schedule. At that meeting my boss told me she wasn't ready to make a decision yet and said we'd re-evaluate moving me to full time in two months. In retrospect, that should have been a red flag. Almost two months later to the day, she walked into my office at the end of my shift and told me that I shouldn't bother coming in tomorrow because she had eliminated my position. After I left, one of my co-workers sent me a text apologizing for how abrupt that must have felt. Apparently my boss had told the rest of the office that she had been planning since that January meeting to let me go, but she was hoping to get more work on a major project out of me first. I'm not sure exactly when my boss made those comments, but I am disappointed no one gave me a heads up that this was coming, though I suppose it wouldn't change anything if they had. Well, on to greener pastures I guess. I think any job I get after this one will probably be an upgrade. ;-)
Wow that is so so awful!! It might not have stopped you being let go, but at least with heads up you could plan finances and things - that is so awful!

That's the cruelest thing ever- why would she get your hopes up like that :(
Sorry, OP. I hope you get a job where they don't crush people's dreams.
