Today, I found out the high school I have been doing at home for the past 3 years isn't accredited and doesn't count for anything. I'm 18 and starting high school as a freshman next year. FML

Some high schools don't allow students over 21. Good luck with that, and I mean it sincerely, cause that sucks.

You should ahve investigated it earlier tbh... I mean, how can you not know it? Were there more people in that school anyway?

This dude would've been better off taking his GED, then going to community college, and later transferring to university. There's no way I would've restarted high school from the beginning. I'm sure he learned enough from his online "school" to pass his GED and succeed in community college since his curriculum never raised suspicion with him or his family.

If it makes you feel better... Me too. :(

I know your pain! The exact same thing happened to me when I went back after being homeschooled. It sucked.

that's kindof illegal... homeschool all homeschool is accredited so someone is ****** you over (I know cause I'm homeschooled)

I can't even put to words how awful this is, and how bad I feel for you. I am SO sorry, OP.
