Today, I found a decomposing hamster deep in my closet. My daughter had hidden "Peach" after accidentally killing it and said it had ran away a month ago. And I'd believed her. FML

Today, my daughter brought home her class hamster for the weekend. It escaped and we spent hours searching for it. We later found it in the fridge, eating our leftover pizza. I never knew hamsters had such a refined palate. FML

Today, I got back home and my hamster was dead. I left notes two weeks ago everywhere to remind my parents to feed it while I was overseas. Apparently, my parents even didn't realize I was gone. FML

Today, I was babysitting my neighbour's six hamsters. My cat got in the room and opened the cage. I came home to no hamsters in sight and a very satisfied looking cat. FML

Today, I found out my creepy, obsessive neighbor got a pet hamster and named it after me. He has been telling all sorts of stories about his hamster using my name, and he just told me in detail how it died of heart attack. FML

My favorite cockatiel died the same way. :( I was sick, he wandered under my blanket and fell asleep, I didn't realize till late the next day that I couldn't find him. Found him when I got ready for bed that evening....what was left of him. Shattering. My condolences. FML indeed.

ummm first of all if u would have changed your sheets wouldn't you have noticed?! wow that's disgusting. apparently the smell of ur 6 month old dirty sheets was worse than the dead hamster!! repulsive. simply repulsive.
